I've been asked to "adopt" a family going through this process. What does that mean?
At First Alliance, we recognize that parenting is a responsibility not to be taken lightly. We also know the journey of parenting has joyful & inspiring moments, as well as difficult & frustrating ones. Believing that God's family is called to live in honest community with each other, supporting & loving each other, we provide this opportunity for people in our FAC family to come alongside parents.

- You are being asked to commit to PRAYING for this family for a year. They will be communicating prayer requests for themselves and their children/child, and we are asking that you pray consistently for them
- You are being asked to purposefully REACH OUT to this family. That may look like a lunch after church, asking for updates on their family or prayers, making phone calls or sending cards to encourage them, or inviting them to your house! How it looks may be different for each family, but the goal is the same: Be purposeful in getting to know them!
