2011 Missions Pledge
The amount pledged for the upcoming year is just under $70,000. Gifts towards missionary support may be given any time through designating your gift "Great Commission Fund."
FAC Missions Philosophy:
We belong to a worldwide community of Christ followers taking the good news of Jesus to seeking people in over 80 countries. Our goal is to provide financial, prayer, & occasional "hands on" support via missions trips in a focused way to the following full-time overseas workers:
Rich/Lisa Brown, Ecuador. The Browns live in Quito & serve in Youth outreach, Youth Pastor mentoring, & the coordinating of short term missions teams from the U.S. in Ecuador, Colombia, & Peru. They are currently touring with the Peruvian musical group "Corban" in the U.S.
"John/Jane Doe", W. Africa. This couple serves in community outreach in the area with the majority religious population.
Ken/Kathy Young, Japan. The Youngs are teaching & mentoring the next generation of Japanese pastors at a seminary in Hiroshima, and also doing outreach in the local community.
Mark/Joan Reichman, New Tribes Mission. The Reichmans operate a missionary Guest Home & recruit missionaries for N.T.M. in Hawaii. They are supported out of FAC's General Fund.
Joe/Rhonda Barker, Trans World Radio. The Barkers serve in Gospel radio and broadcasting ministry in Bonaire, Netherland Antilles. They are supported a fixed amount through the FAC General Fund.
