5 Conversations You Must Have with Your Daughter, Vicky Courtney
Sundays, Sept. 18-Oct. 30 ; 6:00-8:00 PM; Room 1

In 5 Conversations You Must Have With Your Daughter, youth culture expert Vicki Courtney gives moms straight talk about keeping the lines of communication open and honest with their daughters from cradle to college. Vicki helps parents pinpoint and prepare the discussions that need to be ongoing so that girls will know the truth about life before they believe the culture's lies.

Untangling Relationships: A Biblical Perspective on Codependency , Pat Springle
Tuesdays, Sept. 13– Dec. 6; 7:00 PM; Hope House
Why do you feel tangled in relationships in which you believe you must rescue and control others?  Why are you driven to be a “people pleaser” at the risk of damaging yourself emotionally?  What makes you unable to say no, prone to become absorbed in relationships or to withdraw, and easily manipulated into behaving in ways that will harm you and others?  Why do you seem to find yourself in relationships which lead to intense hurt, anger, guilt, and loneliness?
Untangling Relationships: A Christian Perspective on Codependency helps you identify the painful effects of codependency, the compulsion to help everyone and fix everything.   This weekly class will be facilitated by Midi Hall, a licensed counselor from Cove Counseling.

Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman
Thursdays, Sept. 15-Nov. 17; 6:30-8:30 PM; (Charlotte Harbor)

Join Beth in an in-depth and very personal examination of this great story of threat and deliverance. She peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to our lives. If you've ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther's day, it's tough today. This portion of God's Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.

 Morning Bible Studies

Experiencing God , Henry Blackaby
Thursday mornings, Sept. 15-Dec. 15; 9:30-11:30 AM; Room 1

Experiencing God  will breathe new life into your walk with the Lord by showing you how to know God intimately while encouraging you to step out in faith and join Him in His work with miraculous results.   This study will help you to know when God is speaking to you, recognize His activity around you, adjust your life to Him and His ways, and identify what He wants to do through you.

Living Beyond Yourself: The Fruit of the Spirit , Beth Moore
Thursday mornings, Sept. 15– Dec. 1; 9:30-11:30 AM; Kid Zone
We may be able to list the fruits of the Spirit, but living them out is a more difficult matter.  The goal of this 11 week journey with Beth Moore through what the Bible calls the fruit of the Spirit is genuine freedom—the freedom that comes only through a life filled with the Holy Spirit.

God’s Gift of Emotions
Thursday mornings, dates TBD, 9:30-11:30 AM

This four week class with Dr. Christine Hensley-Robbins will help you to understand the complexities of emotions and how they fit into your Christian walk.
