Success at FAC is defined by how effectively our ministries move people from our large environments into small groups.
At FAC we believe that the small group is the best place for sustained life change to occur. In a small group, people study God's Word together and discuss the issues and challenges of life. It's also where they pray, care for one another, and are missed if they don't show up.
Practically speaking, there will never be a way for the staff or elders to personally minister to everyone who attends our church. That's why we place such a high premium on group life. It's how we minister effectively at FAC. What are Small Groups?
Groups are made up of five to six couples or eight to twelve individuals and are the place where people are personally encouraged and challenged in their relationship with God and each other. Generally, groups meet every other week in members’ homes, while some meet at the church.
At FAC we have Women’s groups, Men’s groups, Twenty-something groups, etc. There’s a group that right for you!
How do I Get into a Small Group?
One way to connect with a Small Group is through one of the regular “Grouplinks.” These events are held 3-4 time per year at FAC (usually in August, October, & January) on Sunday mornings after each service. New group leaders position themselves in the breezeway with basic information about their prospective group & sign-up sheets for those interested in a 6-week “test drive” in the new group.
Another way to join a group is through contacting one of the current group leaders & inquiring about attending their group.
You can locate a small group through our
