What is Feed the Harbor”?Feed the Harbor is a one day opportunity for churches of Charlotte
County to come together and fill local food pantries while providing the
community with a picture of what it means for Christ-followers to be the “hands
and feet of Jesus”.
How does it work?
·Ten
or more local food pantries will provide lists of their most desired
non-perishable items.Local churches
will distribute these lists to their congregations on Sunday morning.
·“Shoppers”
will take their lists and head to local shopping sites that have been
prearranged by the planning team.
·Each
site will have a supermarket truck in the parking lot.Here “shoppers” will drop off their
food.
·Volunteers
will sort the food, to be delivered to local pantries.Here additional volunteers will help the
organizations to unload and put away the food.
How can you help?
·Plan
to “shop”with your family on Sunday, March 21.
·Sign
up to help sort food for a two hour shift on that Sunday.
·Help
promote the event by passing out fliers on Sunday mornings and to friends and
neighbors.
·Sign
up to give out “shopping lists” on Sunday, March 21 after all the services.

For your convenience, you can now give to First Alliance Church online.
Just click on the link below to get to our e-giving site. Once there, you will have to create a login by clicking on the link "Not Signed Up Yet? Sign Up Here!"
Fill out the Member SignUp information and "Submit."
We are only accepting ACH transactions (no debit or credit cards), so then click on "View the Authorization Agreement" and, after reading, check "I Agree." You should see the Agreement form again and when you scroll to the bottom, click on Home Page.
Next click on "My Organization's E-Giving Transaction Page."
Enter the amount of your contribution and the fund to which it goes. Monies can be split between funds.
Next you'll be asked for your bank's routing number and your checking account number. This information can be entered each time you give or you can have this information saved under your ID and password.
