Feed The Harbor (9:00AM - 11:59PM)
What is "Feed the Harbor”? Feed the Harbor is a one day opportunity for churches of Charlotte County to come together and fill local food pantries while providing the community with a picture of what it means for Christ-followers to be the “hands and feet of Jesus”. Local churches will distribute these "grocery" lists to their congregations on Sunday morning. • On Sunday, March 21, "shoppers” will take their lists and head to local shopping sites: Publix in Charlotte Harbor across from Harbor Nisssan and in Punta Gorda the Publix at Highway 41S and Burnt Store Rd. Shopping will take place from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM. • “Shoppers” will drop off their food to volunteers at tables set up at the far end of the store parking lot, away from the store entrance. • Volunteers will sort the food, which will be picked up the same day by 24 local pantries.
