A 5K event to support the FAC Missions Fund and Charlotte Charlotte County Homeless Coalition

The First Alliance Church of Port Charlotte, Florida is proud to host; The Second Annual Run 4 A Reason. The 5K family fun run/walk will be to raise funds for the FAC Missions fund and collect non-perishable food items for the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition. (CCHC)

This worthwhile event is a family fun run/walk which anybody and everyone can be a part. We are asking participants and church members/attendees alike to donate non perishable food items for the CCHC. We will have a collection site set up in the church’s breezeway for the donations.

Key Facts:   When and Where? 

The 5K Run 4 a Reason will be held at the Edison Community College Campus at 26300 Airport Road in Punta Gorda on August 8, 2009.

The cost is a suggested donation of $15.00 (pre-registration) and $20.00 (event day)

Advance registration can be completed through the ACTIVE.com web site or by stopping at the Children’s Ministry booth in the church’s breezeway. Participants can also register the day of the event between 6:00 and 7:00AM but are not guaranteed a commemorative shirt. The event will start promptly at 7:30am and is being officiated by Zoomers.
